Whether it’s standing on the summit of Mt. Raineer in Washington state, cheering at his daughters’ dance recitals and volleyball games, or performing his annual Hendrix-style version of the Star Spangled Banner in front of hundreds of forgiving conventioneers, Scott’s diverse experiences have shaped his approach to group facilitation, public speaking and servant leadership.  Scott’s 25-years of experience as a business and government leader helped form his core belief in the power of group synergy, and his unshakable confidence that there is little, if anything, that a cohesive group can’t accomplish.

 

Working with diverse groups and organizations, Scott brings his contagious enthusiasm and professional leadership skills to help move groups toward outstanding results.

 

Scott is a professional group facilitator, leadership coach, and accomplished public speaker. His career includes time with Fortune 500 firms, venture capital and a prosperous third-generation family business.  Scott also served 6 years in Oregon’s legislature.  He received a B.A. from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Portland State University.  Scott is married to his college sweetheart, Alison.  Scott and Alison live near Portland, Oregon with their two daughters, Natalie and Katie.
